The list of China's top 100 prefecture-level cities for brands was released recently, and Zhongshan ranked 18th nationwide.

The comprehensive brand influence index of each city (cities above provincial-capital-level excluded) was calculated based on the data collected in the last two years through a standardized analysis including 293 prefecture-level cities in China. The top three cities were Suzhou, Foshan, and Wenzhou.

At present, Zhongshan has drawn up a strategic development plan for trademark brands, focusing on cultivating product brands, enterprise brands, industry brands, and regional brands. As of the end of March 2021, Zhongshan is home to over 200,000 valid registered trademarks and more than 340 registered Madrid trademarks.
