Pipe section E28 of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge immersed tunnel was recently installed. So far, 20 pipe sections have been installed and connected, spanning 3,052.8 meters, 61% of the total length of the immersed tunnel.

The Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge undersea tunnel will stretch 6,845 meters, of which 5,035 meters is an immersed section, which consists of 32 pipe sections and one final joint. E28 is an ultra-wide, widening pipe section.

Construction of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge is progressing steadily, with 14 pipe sections being installed in 2021.
