The 2022 First Half Soldier Approval Conference of Zhongshan was held on the afternoon of March 10. Conscription organizations of towns and districts reported on their lists of new recruits and military service destinations.

In the first half of 2022, the Conscription Office of Guangdong Province set a recruitment goal for Zhongshan of more than 300 male soldiers for the army, navy, air force, armed police, special forces, and for special areas in Xinjiang.

Over 300 prospective recruits have registered at the Zhongshan Training Base for National Defense Education, and the close-off management and pre-service education have started.
