In conformity with the assignment of the Union of Chinese Oncology Management and the Union of Guangdong Oncology Management, Zhongshan People's Hospital recently took the lead in establishing the Union of Zhongshan Oncology Management.

After the establishment of the Union of Zhongshan Oncology Management, Zhongshan plans to set up 10 specialized committees to advance the work concerning nasopharyngeal cancer, liver cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer, and colorectal cancer, as well as minimally invasive treatment for tumor, palliative care and rehabilitation, early diagnosis and early treatment, therapy integrating traditional Chinese and western medicine, and nursing care. 

Zhongshan also plans to gradually promote the establishment of unions for gastric cancer, gynecological oncology, head and neck neoplasm, urologic neoplasms, lymphoma and management unions for other cancer types.
