Starting June 18, Zhongshan Gymnasium offers the first injection of COVID-19 inactivated vaccine. Zhongshan citizens can make appointments via the Healthy Zhongshan app.

Previously, all vaccination sites in Zhongshan suspended first dose vaccination to fully promote the completion of the vaccination of the second shot (which should be completed 21 days after the first one).

A batch of inactivated vaccines produced by Kangtai Biological arrived at Zhongshan on June 17 to be used for the first dose of inoculation. Due to the limited quantity, the Kangtai vaccine is only available at Zhongshan Gymnasium.

At present, the Kangtai vaccine cannot be mixed with other inactivated vaccines.

As of June 16, around 2.715 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine were administered in Zhongshan.
