A disabled person who was previously unable to stand on his legs stood up slowly and walked following electric wheels with the help of a robot called "Bangbang". Thanks to the coordination of the Zhongshan Federation for Disabled Persons, welfare program Phoenix Health was launched in Zhongshan recently.

This welfare program is co-organized by the China Foundation for Disabled Persons and Shanghai Phoenix Co Ltd. It has been successively launched in Zhejiang province's Huzhou, Hebei province's Shijiazhuang and Shandong province's Jining to provide free rehabilitation facilities and information, treatment and other services for the disabled and other people with mobility difficulties. Zhongshan is the first prefecture-level city in Guangdong province to introduce this program.

The Zhongshan Medical Rehabilitation Equipment Exhibition and Service Center that is located at No.39 Sunwen Middle Road, Shiqi District, covers an area of over 300 square meters. Director of the center noted that a series of programs and rehabilitation services will be carried out in communities in various towns and districts.
