Macao residents with authentic real-name registration of the mobile banking App of the Macao branch of the Bank of China or the MPay app can make cross-border payments with 304 authorized merchants in East District, Tanzhou Town, Sanxiang Town and other areas in Zhongshan.

This is another financial innovation made by the Zhongshan Central Branch of People's Bank of China to provide convenient services to Macao residents in the process of promoting Guangdong-Macao cross-border payment tools in Zhongshan.

Zhongshan and Macao are becoming more connected through the smooth integration of cross-border payment tools. Guangdong-Macao cross-border electronic bill payment service have been avaliable in Zhongshan since December 14. Macao residents can pay their daily bills, including cable fees and property management fees at banks in Macao.
