"What is grandpa's hometown like?" Gabriella Leong, a 13-year-old Australian girl, is growing more curious about her grandpa Raymond Leong's background.

Gabriella was born into a multicultural family, with her mother from Greece, grandmother from Scotland and grandfather from China.

Her Chinese name "Jia-hua" was chosen by her grandfather Raymond. She also has an 11-year-old sister named "Jia-na".

"Hua means Chinese. We hope the kids will know where their roots lie." Before this year's Qingming Festival, Raymond, 90, along with his son Jason and two granddaughters, returned to their hometown of Fuchong Village in South District, Zhongshan after an absence of many years.
