For Harry Horvick, four-and-a-half years old, his first homecoming trip from Hong Kong to Beitai Village in Zhongshan was a completely new experience.

On June 14, little Harry and his parents visited Yang Xianyi's ancestral residence, Beitai Air Force Square, Beitai Primary School, Yang's Temple and the Yanhe House, a protected property of overseas Chinese.

"This is my grandmother Yang Huiqiao, the daughter of Yang Xianyi (Sen Yat Young), who was known as 'father of the Chinese revolutionary air force'," said Harry's father Michael Horvick, Yang Xianyi's great-grandson, pointing to a lady in an old photo.

This is Michael's third return to Beitai Village, 11 years after his previous one.
