On April 2, by a fishpond in Xuliu Village, Nanlang Sub-district, several chinaberry trees stood tall with spreading canopies, their branches dense with pale white and light purple flowers.

The trees appeared draped in a delicate spring veil, creating a hazy, poetic tableau against the backdrop of lush green fields.

In ancient tradition, spring's floral calendar is divided into 24 stages, with the chinaberry bloom marking the final one. Its full bloom not only closes spring's chapter but also serves as a prelude to summer's arrival. (Photo by Miao Xiaojian)
