According to the Hurun Rich List 2017 unveiled last week, 11 Zhongshan citizens are in the list. Sun Qinghuan from Forest Lighting maintains the title of “Zhongshan’s Richest Man” with assets of 13.5 billion yuan. 

According to the list, the 11 listed Zhongshan rich men all started their business in Zhongshan from scratch and made their companies go public after 10 years of hard work. They increased both their company’s and their personal assets.

The threshold of Hurun Rich List has remained at 2 billion yuan for 5 consecutive years. The calculation of the rich men’s assets for this year was due on August 15th.
