The 2018 China Urban Innovation and Incubation Capacity Index was released recently during China Overseas Scholar Innovation Summit 2018. Zhongshan takes the 40th place nationwide in the ranking.

The 2018 China Urban Innovation and Incubation Capacity Index, which reflects the innovation and incubation capacity of a city in terms of economic, social and technological aspects, was provided jointly by Capital Institute of Science and Technology Development Strategy and wiin-wiin.com.

Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen were the top 3 in the ranking, with 7.25, 5.35 and 4.48 index points respectively. Zhongshan ranked 40th, with 0.38 index points.
