The 13th Zhongshan Forum for Health and Development and the 2018 Wu Jieping Medicine Prize Presentation Ceremony were held in Zhongshan on November 17.

The theme of the this year’s event was “Greater Bay Area, Great Health, Greatest Opportunities”. Serial activities such as “Pharmaceutical Innovation and Urban Development International Forum” and “High-end Round-table Conference for Healthcare Simulation Industry Development” were carried out from November 16 to 18.

Kidney disease expert Chen Xiangmei, also the Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, and neurosurgeon Zhao Jizong, also the Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, were the winners of the 2018 Wu Jieping Medicine Prize. The other 6 experts and professors won the 2018 Medical Innovation Prize.
