Department of Finance of Guangdong Province announced the first list of project subsidies for scientific research (construction of basic conditions) of technological strategic fund days before. Two Zhongshan-based corporate labs - “Protein Engineering and Antibody Drug R&D Laboratory” of Akeso Biopharma Inc and “Intelligent Mobile Health Care Management Laboratory” of Lifesense Medical Electronics Co Ltd - were in the list.

The total subsidy amount this time is 111.4 million yuan. Each of the said two Zhongshan labs will be eligible for a subsidy of 1 million yuan.
