According to the latest statistics released by Zhongshan Intellectual Property Bureau, in the first three quarters of this year, a total of 37,122 patent applications were handled, up by 25% from a year earlier, while a total of 25,488 patents were granted, up by 32%.

Guzhen Town handled 8,649 patent applications and granted 7,054. Both figures ranked first across the city.

Torch Zone (Tsuihang New District included) handled 1,368 applications for invention patent and granted 370. Both figures ranked first across the city.
