The 2018 "Zhongshan Top 50 High-tech Firms" list was tabulated and released by the Guangdong R&D Center for Technological Economy recently.

Specifically, each company's overall innovative strength was evaluated in three aspects: firm size, innovation input, and innovation output. The statistics show that the total revenue of the top 50 firms amounted to 81.33 billion yuan. Additionally, over 90% of these companies were able to generate at least 200 million yuan of revenue last year.

It was the advanced manufacturing and automation enterprises that were represented by 17 of the top 50 firms. Among them, TCL (Zhongshan), Broad Ocean, Vatti, Ming Yang Smart Energy, and MLS were also listed in "Guangdong High-tech Firms with Top 100 Overall Innovative Strength".

Meanwhile, about 84% of the "Top 50 High-growth Firms" were shown to hold a 100% or higher revenue growth rate. These companies are considered to have a high rapid development potential.
