The 25th batch of "National Enterprise Technology Centers" was recently announced, according to the Zhongshan Development and Reform Bureau. The MLS Technology Center was among the 8 newly-approved province-wide enterprise technology centers.

Founded in Zhongshan in March 1997, MLS is a leading, national, high-tech enterprise specializing in LED packaging and applications. The company has been optimizing the development and testing facilities in its technology center. These have included upgrades to the component lab, the aging lab, the electrical lab, and the optical lab.

As of 2018, there have been four national enterprise technology centers in Zhongshan. They are, respectively, Vatti, Ming Yang Smart Energy, Tongyu Communication, and MLS.
