"Our products are on the market, and the first device was sold to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) of the US," said Dr. Huang Shaohui, a researcher at the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Huang is also an overseas returnee who has come to Zhongshan for entrepreneurship through the previous Zhongshan Trade, Investment, and Top Talent Fair. 

Huang added that their company was the first domestic company to sell high-end precision scientific research equipment to the NIH, the US' top medical and behavioral research institution founded in 1887.

Huang is a native of Xiaolan Town, Zhongshan City. He has lived abroad for more than 30 years and completed his post-doctoral study at Cornell University. Attracted by the Zhongshan Trade, Investment and Top Talent Fair, Huang returned to Zhongshan, where he hoped to start a career and rapidly industrialize the world-leading scientific research achievements. 

In January 2017, Huang initiated and founded the Guangdong LightEdge Technologies Ltd and registered the company at Ma'an Island in Tsuihang New District, Zhongshan. Presently, his company has been moved into the Zhongshan Sino-Swiss (European) Industrial Park. LightEdge Technologies now has an office building of nearly 2,000 square meters large, with a high-end equipment R&D and production center, a GMP workshop, a precision machinery design and processing center, and other facilities.

So far, in addition to high-end scientific research equipment, LightEdge Technologies has also witnessed smooth progress in research and development of the medical devices.
