The 2019 Investment Conference and Enterprise Forum was held Tuesday morning in Shiqi District. Dozens of local companies, including Perfect (China) Co. Ltd. and Dasin Holdings Limited, were commended for their outstanding contributions to the economic and social development of the district.

Additionally, the district administration also issued charity association (townsfolk) plaques to the Hong Kong Zhongshan Federation of Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs, the Zhongshan Shiqi Friendship Association in Hong Kong, the Zhongshan Shiqi Friendship Association in Macao, and Lin Shutang, a Zhongshan native from Macao.

During the conference, Zhongshan Yixiang Jiayuan Elderly Care Co Ltd, construction unit of the Yide Housing project, Zhongshan Guwang Commercial Management Co Ltd, construction unit of the Hongen Education City, and IDGD, construction unit of the Z-Wave International Certification Center (China) Zhongshan Branch Center respectively signed cooperation framework agreements with Shiqi District Administration Office. Zhongshan Tianrun Real Estate Co Ltd and Shenzhen Parkland Group also signed urban renewal project framework agreements with the Shiqi District Administration Office.

In 2018, Shiqi District's regional GDP increased 8.4% from a year earlier to 24.214 billion yuan.
