The construction of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (hereinafter referred to as GBA) is in full swing. As a key node city in GBA, Zhongshan has become a home for innovation and entrepreneurship. Zhang Xianjun, a post-90s who is absorbed by the excellent entrepreneurship environment in Zhongshan, started his own business in the city right after graduation.

In the past 4 years, his firm has grown from a "one-person business" to a company with an annual sales of exceeding 15 million yuan. In 2018, his firm was identified "Guangdong High-tech Enterprise".

During the school time, Zhang once started business twice, but both ended in failure. After graduating from university in 2014, Zhang left his hometown Shanwei and stayed in Zhongshan for his third start-up.

This time, Zhang placed his focus on delicacies in Zhongshan. He registered the Zhongshan Chudian New Media Co Ltd and opened four WeChat official accounts including the "Zhongshan Cuisine" to introduce and push information about food and amusement. In just two months, he had made profits with those Wechat accounts.

After over three years' development, the original "one-person business" has developed into a company with more than 30 employees, and his 4 WeChat official accounts are followed by over 800,000 fans. 

"The start-up cost is relatively low in Zhongshan," says Zhang, adding that he had moved the office for five times as his team develops. He was also granted the renting subsidies and social security subsidies by the government for his business. 

Currently, hundreds of companies are under incubation in the Zhongshan Menjoy Industrial Park (Zhongshan E-Park). Zhang's company, Chudian New Media, settled in the park at the end of 2018. He rented a 600-square-meter place as the office venue, and he plans to expand the business to other GBA cities.

So far, Zhang's company has served thousands of businesses since its establishment, with a total sales of over 15 million yuan. Besides, the company is also involved in e-commerce to select local products for users. 

As of his plan, Zhang will expand his business to such fields as real estate, household and talent in three years and to surrounding cities of Zhongshan.
