The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) revealed at a press conference of the 2019 World Conference on VR Industry that China continues to make breakthroughs in key VR technologies and the market is scaling up. As the base for games and amusement industry in China, Zhongshan has significantly accelerated its development and application of VR technology in recent years.

In 2018, the Zhongshan Golden Horse (GH) was successfully listed and accelerated its application of animation, film and television, and VR technology into traditional amusement facilities, thereby making a part of performance growth.

The Integrated Product Development and Production Base for Amusement Machine located in the Torch Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone is one of the three production bases of GH, the leading game and amusement company in Zhongshan. Some experience machines are displayed in its exhibition hall, including the Wild Venture which adopts virtual multimedia technology.

According to the person in charge of GH, the company in recent years has enhanced its technological innovation and R&D by integrating comic and animation elements into creativity and R&D of amusement facilities. Though taking a leading position in China's electromechanical amusement facility sector, GH continues to increase its investments in scientific and technological innovation. Such innovations include a new generation of large-scale theme recreational and cultural travel projects that aim at integrating light, electromechanical, film and television animation, and VR technology.

UNIS Technology is also accelerating its integration of new technologies and products. Presently, in terms of simulation-type commercial game and amusement machine, UNIS has applied VR technology into a variety of games.

In addition, UNIS has recently disclosed its draft prospectus on the website of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), and planned to accelerate its development through IPO and further integrate cutting-edge technology into the development of products.
