A smart lamp was first released through Weibo and the post was read by 170,000 people after being officially launched. This new way of launching products through internet platforms is now adopted by old company Huayi Lighting.

On July 13, Huayi Plaza announced a strategic cooperation with Xiaomi IOT, hoping to create a successful case of lighting company intelligentization through the joint cooperation between Huayi Lighting and Xiaomi IOT platform. This cooperation is intended to push more lighting companies in Guzhen to participate in it, so as to promote the active transformation of the industry into intelligent lighting.

Two internet products developed by Huayi Lighting in cooperation with Xiaomi were on the spotlight for exhibition on the same day. It is said that, lamps can be manipulated through Xiaomi smart switches and Xiaomi Smart Home APP.  The APP will also display the name Huayi for brand publicity.

Zhu Zuhuan, General Manager of Huayi's Home Division, stated that smart lighting products, smart home lighting solutions and smart situational lighting have been available to ordinary people in recent years. Integrated control of smart lighting and voice control of smart lighting are becoming a consumption fashion, and the future smart lighting would integrate big data and cloud technology.

Dai Ming, Senior Product Manager of the Xiaomi IOT Platform Department, has investigated the Guzhen lamp market four times this year. In his opinion, the functions of the Guzhen lamps are of no difference. Competition is all about appearance design. With the development of smart home, lamps have been manufactured to be able to upgrade experience in order to achieve diversified competition.
