Zhongshan Zhongtaineng Technology Co Ltd, based in Zhongshan Menjoy Industrial Park, has just moved into its new office.
In January 2017, a start-up team consisting of Chen Lianzhong, Lin Weishen and Pan Ruijia settled in a 60-square meter office in E-park maker space. Since then, they have been committed to promoting research and development based on intelligent hardware and internet.
As its business scaled up, the company established itself two years later and moved into the current 600-square meter office.
Zhongtaiteng is aiming at the agricultural IoT (Internet of Things). The low-power solar video surveillance power supply system developed by the company makes it possible for the producers to observe the growth of agricultural products. This ability is possible regardless of whether they are at the ranch of Erdos, on the black earth of Heilongjiang, in the greenhouse of Xinjiang, or at the tangerine planting base of Huazhou.
Since its establishment, Zhongtaiteng has obtained more than 10 independent intellectual property rights. According to Chen, the company plans to focus on software development to develop agricultural live streaming, tracking systems, and intelligent agricultural irrigation systems with the goal of online remote control of important agricultural links.
In the future, Zhongtaineng will create an agricultural IoT cloud platform to gather data from all aspects of agricultural production. This platform will provide technical and data services concerning scientific planting, food safety tracking and agricultural brand building through big data sharing.
At the beginning of 2019, Zhongtaineng communicated with Dr Yang Jinfeng, Director of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Artificial Intelligence Application Technology Research Institute. The two sides reached a preliminary agreement regarding their cooperation in intelligent agriculture.
