The "Flexible Intelligent Cloud Platform Applicable to Subdivided Areas" jointly exhibited by Zhongshan Mltor Intelligent Equipment Co Ltd and Guangdong Industry Intelligent Manufacturing Co Ltd was eye-catching at the 14th China (Zhongshan) Equipment Manufacturing Expo (ZSEME).

Previously, 4 service products of 3 Zhongshan-based firms made the list of "Gongdong Industrial Internet and Cloud Platform Suppliers and Application Service Products". Industry's "Qiyunzhi" (a company cloud management system) and "I-MES Manufacturing Execution System" were included.

At the 14th ZSEME, Industry also displayed these two self-developed products for the first time, under the first joint exhibition with Mltor. It reflects the new development trend of the equipment manufacturing industry of Zhongshan -- companies team up with others to research and develop intelligent products for seizing the industrial internet market.

As the industrial internet advances, Industry sees an expanding development space. According to Li Zunjie, an MES adviser of the company, in recent years, Industry has assisted many Zhongshan companies such as Darkoo and Sinno in realizing the production automation transformation in addition to providing services to large enterprises like Haier.

Also at the 14th ZSEME, Zhongshan Hantong Laser Science Co Ltd launched two new products, the hand-held laser shaking welding equipment and the robotic laser shaking welding machine.

Hantong is a hi-tech company incubated from the Zhongshan Industrial Technology Research Institute. Since its graduation in 2015, the firm has witnessed rapid development. Its production value exceeded 20 million yuan in 2016 and is expected to reach 60 million yuan this year.

After years of operation in the local market, Hantong's market share in Zhongshan has been increasing. It has become the major laser equipment supplier of Juxiangyuan, TCB Bearing, Mingyang Wind Power, Xinhui Precision, Golden Horse Technology Entertainment and other surrounding enterprises.

Businesses in industrial parks of Zhongshan are collaborating more closely. For example, in Torch Development Zone, there have been over 70 optoelectronics enterprises. These companies are taking advantage of the upstream-downstream industries to complete the innovation chain.

Lin Xiaocong, Hantong's general manager, suggested that companies in the same industrial park need to develop a "shared mind". In particular in the intelligent equipment sector, companies in different subdivided areas could build a "combined fleet" to improve overall competitiveness by integrating resources and exerting their advantages.
