Jonjee Hi-tech Industrial & Commercial Holding Co Ltd recently disclosed its plan to build the JonjeE Hi-tech Food Science Industrial Incubation Center in the Torch Development Zone.

With a planned investment of 885 million yuan, the project covers a building area of 200,000 square meters. It will mainly focus on food, biotechnology, equipment manufacturing, microelectronics and communication industries, and efforts will be made to build it into a national-level incubator.

Meiweixian, a subsidiary company of JonjeE Hi-tech, is a leading seasoning enterprise in China. It has 2 production bases in Zhongshan and Yangxi respectively and contributes more than 90% of JonjeE Hi-tech's revenue. Based on Meiweixian's industrial advantages, JonjeE Hi-tech aims to develop the incubation center into a "fine food science and technology base" through coordinated development of food and other industries and its resources as a listed company.

JonjeE Hi-tech will roll out the investment plan through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Zhongshan Innovative Technology Development Co Ltd.

In the first half of 2019, JonjeE Hi-tech's revenue stood at 2.392 billion yuan, up 10.03% year-on-year. Its net profit attributable to shareholders was 366 million yuan, up 7.99% year-on-year.
