In May this year, the LED Eye-care Table Lamp standards, initiated and drawn up by Zhongshan enterprises, passed the filing review through the national group standards information platform and became the first group standards in the eye protection table lamp industry. According to Guangdong Guangyang Electric Co Ltd, the company will soon launch two group standards-based products, hoping to help teenagers protect their eyes.   

"These two products strictly comply with the LED Eye-care Table Lamp standards and the EU RoHS standards, with an aim to play a leading role in the industry." said a staff member of Guangyang Electric, adding that the two products are installed with voice reminders to help primary and secondary school students develop proper eye-care habits.

Chen Shaofan, chairman and general manager of Guangyang Electric, said the company has established the Guangdong Eye-care Table Lamp Engineering Technology R&D Center in 2010, and was awarded Guangdong Engineering Technology R&D Center in 2018. Guangyang Electric is currently the domestic leader in eye protection table lamp technology research and development.
