The finals for bio-medicine and advanced manufacturing industries of the 8th China Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition (CIEC) Guangdong Division and the 7th "Pearl River Angel Cup" Science and Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held in Zhongshan on September 3. A total of 48 enterprises across Guangdong entered the finals. Five enterprises from Zhongshan made the finals, covering such fields as medical device, intelligent manufacturing and intelligent robot.

Zhongshan Dart Imaging Medical (Zhongshan) Co Ltd won the third prize in the bio-medicine industry final.

Sinoscience Fullcryo (Zhongshan) Low Temperature Equipment Manufacturing Co Ltd, Zhongshan XG Intelligent System Co Ltd, Zhongshan IBD Technology Inc and Zhongshan Aijun Intelligent Technology Co Ltd demonstrated Zhongshan's innovative strength in advanced manufacturing industry in the advanced manufacturing industry final. Sinoscience Fullcryo (Zhongshan) and IBD Technology both won the third prize.
