The Hurun Research Institute on October 10 released the 2019 Hurun China Rich List. A total of eight Zhongshan people were on the list, one more than last year.

Deng Yingzhong family from Zhongshun Group replaced Sun Qinghuan, who ranked the highest among the rich people in Zhongshan for the past two years, became the richest man in Zhongshan with a wealth of 10 billion yuan. 

The most significant rise was recorded by Deng Yingzhong family from Zhongshun Group and couple Wu Zhonglin and Shi Guiqing  from Tongyu Communication, respectively 327 and 320 places higher than last year.

It is worth noting that, Feng Jiujing and Tang Chongwu, who made the list for the first time this year, both saw their company entering the A-share market in the first half of 2019.

It is the 21st consecutive year the Hurun Research Institute has released the "Hurun China Rich List" since 1999. The threshold for the list stands at 2 billion yuan for the 7th consecutive year. The deadline to calculate he wealth of entrepreneurs on the list was August 15, 2019.
