An intelligent breeding equipment named "Crab Hotel" was being loaded on the 3rd floor of Zhongshan South District Asset Management Co Ltd on Chengnan Second Road on October 16. It was ready to be transported to the Hong Kong Hee Kee Crab Breeding Base in Guangxi.

Liao Weiwen, the third-generation head of the Hong Kong-based Hee Kee who came to Zhongshan a few months ago to start his own business, took charge of this work.

In the context of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area development, South District exerts its advantages as an overseas Chinese hometown to attract youths from Hong Kong and Macao to start businesses in Zhongshan. This is mainly done through the construction of innovative and entrepreneurial bases, introduction of international medical and educational institutions, improvement of transportation links, optimization of business and residential environment in villages, and other measures.

In particular, the South District Science and Technology Innovation Valley, which was inaugurated in early September, has attracted 10 high-quality entrepreneurial projects involving Hong Kong and Macao youths, 5 of which are operated by Hong Kong and Macao youths.

"The strong manufacturing sector in Zhongshan has made it possible for ideas to be incubated. Hong Kong's Bob Bob English and Aida Tech all have a second start-up in Zhongshan," said Caspar Wong, principal of the South District Science and Technology Innovation Valley.

"In the future, we will continue to introduce more students from prestigious universities, including those in Hong Kong, to gain internship experience at the Valley, so as to provide a sufficient pool of talents for various incubated projects," said Ou Pengcheng, a management staff member of the Valley.
