The Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province recently issued a notice that 790 engineering technology research centers, including the Guangdong New Medicine Development and Manufacturing Engineering Technology Research Center, were recognized as "Guangdong Engineering Technology Research Centers in 2019".

A total of 36 companies in Zhongshan city were listed, including Guangdong Automation Engineering (Wistron) Engineering Technology Research Center set up by Wistron (Zhongshan) Co Ltd, and Guangdong Information Storage Engineering Technology Research Center set up by Zhongshan Jiangbolong Electronics Co Ltd. These centers cover automation, electronic information, new materials, intelligent furniture, bio-medicine, and other fields.
