On the morning of March 24, Galanz's first batch of Hubei "direct transport" employment buses slowly drove into its Zhongshan base. After a 24-hour-journey spanning 1,200 kilometers, 71 migrant workers from Yuan'an county, Hubei province's Yichang city successfully arrived at Zhongshan.
Galanz has prepared a welcoming package containing quilts, shampoo, and other daily necessities for each new employee.
According to Liang Zhaoxian, chairman of Galanz, the company has added at least 10 billion yuan of investment this year. Starting from March, Galanz will recruit over 12,000 new employees in stages and batches. Giving priority to employees from Hubei, Galanz plans to recruit 10,000 front-line workers, 1,000 fresh college graduates as well as 1,000 experts and engineers.
In addition to the "direct transport" style recruitment, Galanz's Human Resources Department has also set up a special employment group for students graduated from universities in Hubei.
