On the afternoon of May 13, the Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Young Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum, with the theme "Youth Lead the Way to Revitalize Zhongshan", was held in Dongchengli Industrial Park in East District.

Liang Shilun, a professor at UESTC, Zhongshan Institute, Xie Xiaoping, general manager of Zhongshan Shanpai Chemical Technology Co Ltd, Ye Xinghua, co-founder and CEO of Gungho Space, Feng Wenqian, founder and managing director of Jinwan Cultural and Creative Business Group, and other entrepreneurs from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao were invited to the forum to share their entrepreneurial experiences and discuss how to attract more talented individuals to Zhongshan for entrepreneurship and employment.

The five-year "Youth Pre-employment Training Program" for East District was officially launched at the same time. At present, the program has reached agreements with five local colleges and universities such as UESTC, Zhongshan Institute and Guangdong Pharmaceutical University, as well as 20 key enterprises such as Road & Bridge Southern China Engineering Co Ltd, Guangdong Qtong Education and Guangdong Senssun Weighing Apparatus Group Co Ltd on training outstanding talent for East District to meet the needs of industrial development, government, and enterprise management.
