In January 2009, Huang Zengqiang, who is now chairman of Zhongshan Meisu Electric Appliance Co Ltd, was younger than 23 years old but had been a courier in EMS for one and a half years. He felt that he could not earn much money and wasted his time, so he resigned and started his own business.

It took Huang Zengqiang only six years to grow from a courier to the owner of a business worth 100 million yuan: Meisu's output value surpassed 100 million yuan in 2015 and has exceeded 200 million yuan at present. As an enterprise above designated size in Dongfeng Town, the company can sell more than 3 million pieces of appliances per year.

Huang Zengqiang said that it is not easy to survive in this highly competitive market. Meisu mainly relies on research & development and innovation. From the design and function of the products to their attractiveness, convenience, fashion sense, and functionality of the products, Meisu leverages the most value from its detailed innovation.

Huang Zengqiang said that while being the original equipment manufacturer of the top domestic appliance giants, Meisu has also been cultivating its own brand. Both online and offline, Meisu is always targeted the middle and high-end markets.

With the continuous expansion of their production scale, the existing factory buildings can no longer meet the needs of the company. Huang Zengqiang has built a new factory building in Hetai Village. At present, the company is relocating and preparing for the peak sale season in the second half of the year.
