After a 20 minute train ride from Gongbei Urban Rail Station in Zhuhai, Ho Chi-wai, a young entrepreneur from Macao, arrived at Zhongshan Station at around 9 am. Then he went to the Zhongshan Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cooperation Platform to start his work day.

"It takes less than an hour to travel from Macao to Zhongshan, and it is very convenient. So to me, Zhongshan is the ideal choice in the Greater Bay Area to start a business." Ho believed that more and more young people in Hong Kong and Macao will be willing to start businesses here.

Ho is a postgraduate law student at the University of Macau. In March this year, he founded his company Zhongshan Wuji Sports Co Ltd in the Zhongshan Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cooperation Platform. The company is committed to the development and promotion of sports training for children and adolescents.

"The Entrepreneurship Platform provides us with free offices and one-on-one services with enterprise mentors. Whether it is about entrepreneurship, business policies, or laws, taxation, accounting or more, we can get assistance." Ho said that the platform can help entrepreneurs save costs.

The Zhongshan Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cooperation Platform is a business incubation base planned and invested by the Zhongshan People's Government. Zhongshan Torch Polytechnic is responsible for the daily management of the platform, while Zhongshan Huizhi E-Commerce Investment Management Co Ltd is responsible for incubation services and providing convenient, personalized, customized and refined professional services for young people from Hong Kong and Macao who start businesses and work in Zhongshan.

The base boasts a space of 8,000 square meters, equipped with service windows, entrepreneurship education facilities, business incubation zone, instant entrepreneurship zone, multi-functional conference rooms, enterprise mentor offices, entrepreneurship roadshow hall, entrepreneurship project exhibition hall and other functional areas. Since the beginning of its operation, the platform has provided services for 413 project teams.
