The 2021 Zhongshan-Hong Kong and Macao Youth Talent Development Camp opened on April 24.

The event focused on such professions as biomedicine, information technology, high-end manufacturing and finance, with a total of 40 talented doctoral and master's degree holders from universities in Macao participating.

During the two-day one-night camp, participants would inspect key platforms and projects, leading enterprises and local industries in Zhongshan, including the Zhongshan Tsuihang New District Planning Exhibition Center, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge, and Mingyang Smart Energy Group.

At the opening ceremony, the Communist Youth League Zhongshan committee, one of the camp organizers, signed contracts with nearly 20 excellent Zhongshan-based enterprises as the first cooperative enterprises of the Zhongshan Practice Base for College Students. The practice base will be an exchange platform for young graduates and enterprises. Cooperative enterprises will provide internship positions during winter and summer vacations for college students especially those from Hong Kong and Macao.
