The 2022 Zhongshan Overseas Doctoral and Postdoctoral Innovation Competition held the preliminary contest in ZOS Park on June 18. This was the first doctoral and postdoctoral innovation competition for overseas doctoral and postdoctoral candidates in Zhongshan. On that day, 30 projects qualified for the finals.

The competition was launched in April this year, involving next-generation information technology and biomedicine and healthcare, two sectors that fit the future industrial layout plan of Zhongshan.

A total of 226 projects signed up for the competition, and 190 of them passed the qualification examination, including 110 projects from the next generation information technology sector and 80 from the biomedicine and healthcare sector.
