The final evaluation of the 2022 Zhongshan Industrial Design Competition (2022 ZSIDC) combined event took place on December 4.

The combined event includes Product Design and Conceptual Design groups. The former, specific to mass-produced and developed products, targets enterprises, institutions, colleges and universities, individuals and design teams in Zhongshan; the latter, specific to non-mass-produced and yet-to-be-launched products with conceptual design, targets enterprises, institutions, colleges and universities, individuals and design teams at home and abroad.

Since kicking off on September 14, the 2022 ZSIDC has received a total of 1,531 entries from hundreds of enterprises, colleges and universities, teams and individuals in 27 provinces (regions, municipalities) across China. Upon reviews, 158 entries were shortlisted for the final evaluation.

Most of the entries are inspired by great ideas, including products for rehabilitation of the disabled, products for such groups as children, visually impaired people and the aged, and large equipment for disaster rescue, high-altitude cable cleaning and other purposes.

The 2022 ZSIDC offers A total of 1.03 million yuan in bonuses, and the winners will be announced through official channels soon.
