The opening ceremony of the Haier Biotech Zhongshan Industrial Park was held on April 12, and the Haier International Cell Bank (South China) was unveiled and put into operation. 

As Haier's first regional cell preparation center in South China, it will help boost Zhongshan's medical care level and clinical research capacity, and inject new impetus for the high-quality development of the regional life science industry.

Covering over 20,000 square meters, the Haier Biotech Zhongshan Industrial Park, funded and independently operated by Qingdao Haier Biotech Co Ltd, is the R&D and production base of Haier Biotech in South China. The Haier International Cell Bank (South China) is the first regional cell bank and cell preparation center approved in Zhongshan, with biological laboratories up to the Grade "A+B" pharmaceutical cleanliness standards of GMP.

On the day, the CAIQ Greater Bay Area Research Institute & Haier Biotech Innovation and Research Center for Cell Regeneration and Precision Medicine was inaugurated. Qingdao Haier Biotech Co Ltd also reached strategic cooperation agreements with Zhongshan Torch Development Zone People's Hospital, Bo'ai Hospital of Zhongshan and Zhongshan Rehabilitation Hospital.
