'Made in Zhongshan' lights up Hangzhou Asian Games

The Hangzhou Asian Games are scheduled to open in Hangzhou on Saturday evening, and the 56 competition venues are ready to welcome visitors. As night falls, the three stadiums of the Asian Games in Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center are adorned with lights, resembling dancing butterflies nestled beside the "big and small lotus flowers". The "butterfly" is surrounded by lights that resemble the Milky Way. These lighting solutions are powered by Huayi, a lighting company based in Zhongshan.

Huayi is a 37-year-old manufacturer of lighting fixtures that grew up in Zhongshan's Guzhen Town, also known as the Lighting Capital of China.

From the Olympic Games to the Asian Games, Huayi gets involved in many major international events. This time, Huayi undertook part of the outdoor landscape lighting and upgrading project of the main gymnasium and natatorium. "Made in Zhongshan" will once again light up another world's grand event.

"During the construction of the Asian Games venues, our professional team keeps improving the lighting designs, not only upgrading the appearances but also blending the 'green concepts' of the Hangzhou Asian Games into the lighting solutions," said Yang Yule, project manager of Huayi.

In addition to energy-saving LED light sources, Huayi also upgraded the intelligent control system of lighting by incorporating the garden lamps into the smart city control network.
