Weili, an electric appliance maker based in Zhongshan's Fusha Town, held a ceremony on February 17 marking the start of work after the Spring Festival holiday.

According to an executive of the company, orders for the first quarter have been fully scheduled. All employees are working at full capacity to catch up with the orders, striving for a good start to achieve a 20% growth this year in performance.

To ensure a smooth start of production on the first working day, the company had arranged the tasks well in advance before the Spring Festival holiday. On February 17, Weili was set to produce 5,000 washing machines.

Founded in 1980, Weili has developed into a modern enterprise engaged in the research and development, manufacturing and sales of washing machines, microwave ovens, refrigerators and other household appliances. With nearly 40 years of professional washing machine manufacturing experience, the company is the first national high-tech enterprise that is able to produce and sell over one million washing machines per year in the industry.

At present, 85% of Weili's business comes from exports, mainly microwave ovens and small refrigeration appliances. In 2023, Weili's total output value reached 3.5 billion yuan, up approximately 20% from 2022.
