Chen Zhuang, a post-90s PhD holder from Canada, arrived in Zhongshan from Beijing with his team's research results on the evening of February 27. He would take part in a talent introduction activity for PhD holders returned from overseas.
Chen's team is engaged in the development of artificial intelligence logistics network projects. Aimed at the Greater Bay Area's location advantages, top talents, complete industrial support and proximity to international markets, he hopes to make Zhongshan the first stop for his business in the GBA.
"We hope to implement our project in Zhongshan and set up a company here," said Chen Zhuang.
The talent introduction activity will be held in the Zhongshan Overseas Students Pioneer Park, a platform that was established in 2004, targeting the biomedicine, intelligent equipment and photoelectric information industries and trying to build a full-chain industrial incubation ecosystem of consisting of maker spaces, incubators, accelerators and industrial parks.
As an important platform for attracting and nurturing high-level talents in Zhongshan, the Zhongshan Overseas Students Pioneer Park provides PhD holders returned from overseas with quality business environment and policy support.
Chen is full of confidence in staying in Zhongshan in the future. "The city of Zhongshan is located in the Greater Bay Area. The Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge and the Nansha-Zhuhai-Zhongshan Intercity Railway will make Zhongshan a transportation hub with huge potential for development."
