"This is our newly developed temperature-regulating aerogel thermal fabric, with 30% better insulation than traditional materials. Both European and domestic clients showed strong interest upon seeing the samples and immediately placed orders", said Zhou Junjian, R&D chief of the Well Dyeing company based in Zhongshan's Sanjiao Town.

According to CEO Cai Jing, Well Dyeing's export order volume in the first 5 months this year remained flat compared to last year. On a test report, stamps of certifications like the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 are clearly visible. "These aren't just certificates, they're the 'passports' to international markets."

After equipment upgrades, Well Dyeing's energy efficiency increased by 15% and carbon emissions reduced by 20%. In 2024, the company cut about 7,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. Some core foreign brands have even included Well Dyeing as an innovation partner in Asia because it can provide carbon footprint reports of the production process.

Meanwhile, Well Dyeing collaborates with leading experts from Wuhan Textile University, Inner Mongolia University of Technology and Wuyi University to establish a fabric R&D platform and finalize the strategic R&D directions aligned with market trends. Through the "demand-oriented + technology implementation" mode, Well Dyeing succeeds in launching new products every year to continuously increase client stickiness.

From a 50-member workshop in 2001 to an industry leader today, Well Dyeing allocates over 5% of its revenue to R&D every year. "We are pioneering the development of 'smart adaptive textiles' that integrate bio-sensing capabilities, enabling real-time health monitoring while maintaining optimal thermoregulation and moisture management," Cai Jing'er added.
