Around 3 AM on July 15, the workshop of Zhongshan Sanmei Hi-Tech Materials Technology Co located in Sanjiao Town's Gaoping Industrial Park, was already a symphony of machinery.

With two groundbreaking innovations filling domestic gaps, this 26-year Zhongshan-based enterprise has enabled localization of key materials for high-end automotive and new energy battery sectors. Today, it operates at a 1,000-ton monthly capacity, capturing 76% of China's metal composite materials market — a testament to "China speed" in the sector.

The company's 43-mu factory under construction will enable full-cycle production from metal substrates to automotive fluid pipe modules, cutting delivery times from 15 days to 7.

"We aspire to be technical solution providers, not just material suppliers," said Sanmei chairman Lu Jianwu. The new production lines target such emerging fields as low-altitude economy and avionics, with its 5-year AI materials R&D project now entering pilot testing.
