The Zhongshan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese (ZSFROC) and the Chinese Entrepreneurs Society of Canada on October 12 jointly hosted a special roadshow and matchmaking event, connecting top-tier entries from the Guangdong International Overseas Chinese Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition with global investment and financing institutions.

Four curated projects, spanning such emerging sci-tech fields as biomedicine, advanced manufacturing and artificial intelligence, demonstrated strong alignment with Zhongshan's strategic industrial priorities.

During the event, Michael Klein, senior advisor at Wolfline Capital, showed keen interest in an AI-based emotional interaction product. He engaged in technical deep-dives with the project team on implementation pathways and application scenarios, and personally tested the product's features.

Klein disclosed plans to further evaluate the project's business strategy, with potential follow-up including dispatching professional teams to Zhongshan for on-site inspection and investment collaboration.
