The 150kg-class drone model E40H, developed by FCourier, a Zhongshan-based company under eVTOL innovator VerTaxi, was recently granted a type certificate (TC), marking the world's first hybrid VTOL (vertical takeoff and landing) fixed-wing airworthiness certification.

E40H features a 3.78m fuselage length, 9.02m wingspan, and 0.99m height, with key specs including max speed of 115 km/h, max altitude of 1,000m, max takeoff weight (MTOW) of 150kg, empty weight of 100kg, and 50kg payload capacity. At full fuel and 150kg MTOW, it can achieve 10-hour endurance and 800km range.

To date, 19 civilian drone/eVTOL models in China have secured type certificates.
