Construction kicked off on the expansion of the research and manufacturing base for AI-based high-performance computing and advanced semiconductor core materials of Zhongshan EMC, an electronic materials company, on May 12.

From agreement signing to groundbreaking, the project took just 12 days, an astonishing "light-speed" turnaround.

A wholly owned subsidiary of Taiwan-based Elite Material Co Ltd (EMC), EMC Zhongshan was established in Torch High-Tech Zone in 2004. The national high-tech enterprise develops, manufactures and sells copper-clad laminates (CCLs) and prepregs (PPs).
