A famous denim clothing town in China, Zhongshan's Dachong is home to more than 3,000 enterprises along the denim supply chain. As the traditional manufacturing sector shifts toward branding and higher value, the aroma of coffee is wafting from factory floors.

Founded in the late 1990s, Blu Denim initially focused on OEM production of jeans for export orders, serving a number of internationally renowned brands. In 2019, the company launched its private brand Blu Denim Studio, and has since been shifting its focus toward brand development and retail.

Walking into the Blu Denim Cafe on the first floor of the garment factory, visitors will be greeted by the aroma of freshly ground coffee.

Bathed in warm light, the walls are lined with displays of new denim apparel, raw fabrics, trims and accessories, and decorative items, all underscoring the rich denim culture. Foreign clients and staff chat quietly at tables, creating a relaxed yet refined atmosphere.

Just behind a wooden door lies a completely different scene: the factory floor, where production processes are seamlessly integrated and workers operate in an orderly, highly efficient environment typical of a busy plant.

According to the founder, the cafe was designed from the start as an offline showroom for the brand and a space for business meetings. Customers can see and touch the denim fabrics and experience the variety of production techniques. For staff, the space offers a break from the workshop noise and office formality, enabling comfortable business communication.
