Fortune magazine released the 2026 Fortune China 500 list on July 21, with 74 companies based in Guangdong making the cut.

Mingyang Smart Energy Group Limited ranked 388th, the only company from Zhongshan on the list and its sixth consecutive appearance.

The company climbed 95 spots from last year. Its 2025 operating revenue reached US$5.3 billion (about 35 billion yuan).

Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Zhongshan, Mingyang Smart Energy operates in wind, solar, energy storage and hydrogen — covering clean energy project development and operation, high‑end equipment R&D and manufacturing, and engineering services.
