The results of a Guangdong embodied intelligence application scenario challenge competition were announced on August 19. The AI-powered embodied intelligence physiotherapy robot solution, jointly developed by Wuyuyun, a technology company based in Zhongshan's Torch High-Tech Zone, and Shenzhen-based tech firm Dobot, clinched the top spot in the intelligent physiotherapy category.

Wuyuyun specializes in healthcare and eldercare robot development and control algorithms for myofascial therapy. By combining its expertise with Dobot's core technologies in collaborative robotic arms and large vision-language models for embodied AI, the two companies have jointly created an integrated flexible intelligent physiotherapy robot system, which can automatically identify a person's posture and deliver standardized treatments, including myofascial release and adaptive massage. It is suitable for a range of settings, such as hospital rehabilitation departments, fitness centers, community health and eldercare stations, and commercial wellness outlets.
