Mingyu No.1, the world's first integrated smart wind-fishery facility, has recently completed its fourth harvest. Built around a jacket-foundation wind turbine with an integrated aquaculture cage, the unit was independently developed and designed by Zhongshan-based Mingyang Group.

The harvest brought in more than 20,000 kilograms of marketable fish, including golden pompano, grouper, mangrove red snapper and other premium species. It demonstrates that the aquaculture equipment, management procedures and support systems can operate continuously under large-scale mixed-culture conditions in deep offshore waters.
